I just wanna see some Small Form Factor Builds...

Baeger

It's something I've always been really fascinated by.  I think because every PC I've ever owned has been a CHONK.

Feel free to share any awesome SFF builds you've worked on in the past;  The smaller the better!

One of the coolest things about build logs for a lot of these builds to me anyway, is the difficulties faced with parts not fitting or cables being a reaaaaaally tight squeeze.  Let's hear some of the challenges you faced and what you did to overcome them.

I'll take this opportunity to share my by-no-means-small-form-factor machine so the thread starts off with something - I found the cable management in a larger case like this to be a bit of a pain (but I'm by no means an experienced builder, I've only built 5 PCs in my life).  Let's see what's possible in the LTT community 😄

I suspected that the case looked 3D printed and your sig confirms it 😄

That's such a creative way to make a case though, I love it!  It actually looks pretty good too.

Is the red thing on the back the power button as well? Also what's going on with the power supply?

What are the dimensions on this out of interest?

~250 x 160 x 338mm or 12.7 liters. Perhaps a tad bit bigger now if you include the taller legs I installed.

Not exactly SFF at 13 liters, but fit all the boxes for me. I'd like to get it smaller.

This is before I put the GPU in. I'd love to get a Loque Ghost. Can't seem to ever find them in stock. The 6800 XT supposedly fits in it.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Here's an older build I had, all custom watercooled. The case is a Jonsbo U2, around 14L.

This case wasn't made with watercooling in mind so it was a real challenge to try to cram all that in. I still think aesthetically this is one of my best personal builds. It still had some pretty good temps for the ventilation.
