This seems like one of those "If it seems too good to be true, it is" situations.

I mean what do you expect it's a too good to be true price with beyond obviously photoshopped listing images.

The photo-shops so bad I fairly certain the camera is a jpg of the iphone 11's. No one in there right mind would buy that. If you actually needed a 10core tablet with 10 GB of ram you would most likely know what your looking for and not be looking for it on EBAY

Yup, I have to agree. The article listing is so horrible, everything seems fake at the very first glance. Nobody in their right mind would expect a "Android 11 10C 10+256G" device for below 100 bucks. The amount of RAM and storage would, in every case, be more expensive by themselves than the entire tablet is. Look around and try to find tablets for that price. The Amazon Fire HD are usually a great contender in that low price range, and they have 2-3GB of RAM (assuming it's the current Fire HD8 or HD8 Plus) and 32-64GB of internal storage. But not these obscene specs for such a low price. It is literally not possible. And on the product photo it looks like an iPad Mini with a photoshopped larger screen (by inserting a photo in the frame) and a photoshopped iPhone 11/12 Pro (Max) camera.

Right, but the ave non-technical person whose looking for something perhaps for their kids or grandparent, has no clue what all those specs mean, all they know is the price is right and the product looks pretty.

This is how those scams sell...to people who don't know any better

Looking at the sheer number of devices, phones and tablets listed and for sale with old,out-of-date,

pre-Android 11 Firmware,(billions of devices), It is no surprise to learn of chip shortages.
These Sellers are left with unsaleable stock everytime Android Updates and IMO there should be an option or scheme in place for them to recycle the old useless devices where the chips or silicon could be recycled or repurposed.

As the old adage goes, "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is". Still, I do agree there are many non-tech savvy peeps out there that unscrupulous sellers at eBay, and other such similar sites, who are always ready to scalp naive buyers.

When I was looking for a tablet, an 8" model as I've already covered my >10" tab need with a Tab S5e, I scouted around, saw many brands that were pretty iffy, though Alldocube iPlay tablets seemed to be legit here. I decided on a Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 (which checks all the boxes except for fingerprint unlock which it lacks) and have no regrets getting it as it's a great looking 8" tab with a great screen.

I'd avoided any heartaches and frustration by opting for a known brand tablet, I could have gone cheaper, but decided to stick to something that is a known quantity.

you do get lollipop tho, the 2nd best version after KitKat, so while this is technically a scam, it's not the worst there is. 😯
