College isn't the be-all and end-all of knowledge, these are things that you can learn through books (and the internet as a whole). Practice is also very important.

I never learned anything in any school regarding PC, yet I can buy parts, build pc, recommend PC stuff, upgrade PC, also do a little bit of a troubleshoot, determine what's hindering PC performance, explain how PC works, etc.

See I misread that as well. 

Heck I have two degrees, neither of which helps my current job!

 

Bachelor's in Business Admin and a Master's in Project Management. 

I work as a Non-nuclear work control technician and test director on aircraft carriers.
