Why is there no benchmark sub forum?

I think it would be cool if LTT forum members had a dedicated place to share their system benchmarks and scores.

I wanted to share my ROG RealBench score :)

post-4438-0-58761400-1395423836_thumb.pn
(I forgot to use my overclocked profile for my 770 when I did the benchmark, that is why my CL score is a bit low)

I'm interested to see what other guys on this forum also get on this benchmark, or other benchmarks as well.

The ROG leaderboard is just too many people.

There technically is threads about benchmarks I think. The CPU subforum has a CPU OC database that I'm pretty sure requires you include a benchmark. The GPU subforum has a GPU OC database that I'm pretty sure also requires you to include benchmarks. There probably are more benchmark threads under their respective subforum.

but its all spread out

it would be nice to have a single thread or sub forum for all benchmarks

This is what I got @Enderman  cpu is at 4.5 atm though, 4.8 requires to much voltage for 24/7 imo

Only a little in that, I haven't bothered flashing back onto the bios that lets me go to 1.319 volts.  Usually only when I'm bored I do that lol

Reference 780 from EVGA.

Watercooled.

http://www.overclock.net/t/1421221/gtx780-titan-any-ncp4206-card-vdroop-fix-solid-1-325v

Keep in mind, one person on the forum used this and fried his card, a cap exploded I believe (He didn't have a custom loop, so it probably got to hot)

Make a back-up of your ROM, if it dies whilst overvolting, boot into windows with your onboard gpu and re-flash back to default before sending it back.

Keep in mind, this can push your 780's tdp upwards of 350-400 watts.

Sounds dangerous. Ill try it out when I get home ;)

I have an 850w Gold PSU. Is it ok for 24/7 use?

Should be fine.  Is your waterblock a full cover, does it cover the VRM?

Swiftech Komodo

Covers everything.

You'll be ok then.  Expect 1500 mhz maybe 1550 from 1.32v (the max the 1.3v bios can push)

Usually in most cases I've seen 100mv = 100 mhz on the core.

Yep, I saw that.

I wonder if I can RMA if I brick it or kill it with the OC. (i really doubt I will)

How do you do it? Just download that bios and run it or something?

You first download a beta version of afterburner.  Then in CMD prompt, you enter a command line that unlocks afterburner to allow 1300 mv voltage slider, then you download the zip with the ROM and bios flashing tool. Add a folder in your C drive named "Nvflash" drag and drop the zip files content in there. Open CMD prompt, type chdir C:/nvflash

Then you type nvflash "nameofBIOS.rom" --override -6

Then you push Y once, it'll beep then beep again when its done. Then restart.
