the CPU is probably just not good enough to play the game. check task manager to confirm this.

do you have any, and i litterally mean ANY other applications open in the background?

close the steam window exit discord and skype and spotify.

i'm afraid your hardware just doesn't have much horsepower* since it's old.

*it's not measured in horsepower but i think you get my point

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

Get new pc.. Or just motherboard, cpu.. Maybe get 2nd hand oldr system that support ddr3, like 4th gen Intel or like it. Should be fairly cheap

There's multiple limiting factors here, you have little ram that is eaten up by the OS and a slow cpu. Sadly you cannot upgrade your CPU since it's soldered directly to the motherboard, your best choice is getting a new motherboard+cpu+ram and maybe a PSU as well. Depending on where you live you should be able to pick up a cheap optiplex with a 2nd-3rd gen i5 and a bit of ram, then you can put your GTX 750 in there and it'll perform well.

You have barely any RAM and a slow CPU. I would very strongly suggest that you switch to a lightweight Linux distro instead of Windows (which I assume you're running now). It may or may not help with gaming performance (depends on the game and if the increase in performance from a lighter OS is greater than the decrease in performance because it's running on Linux) but it will help a lot with basically anything else.

the amd APUs were slow to begin with (especially the lower tier ones like yours) you barely have enough ram your motherboard is a OEM one that has the CPU solderered in (so you cant change that either)

There isn't much to help you with, magic as far as I know isnt possible.

So you have either to run on potato graphics in hopes that your system can manage it

or next thing you can do is to buy a used office PC which still will be slow but much faster than yours e.g this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Inspiron-530-Computer-with-Monitor-keyboard-and-mouse/362957497385?hash=item5481f3e429%3Ag%3A0EoAAOSwnFlef8gN&LH_BIN=1

(the link is just for reference I dont necesserily recommend this purchase make sure that if you buy it on ebay it has ebay buyer protection which appears on the screen if available and also make sure that in the description it says that it is working and has no faults if nothing is mentioned contact the seller, if you buy it from a forum listing or what not do not wire money use paypal or physically inspect the system before buying it)

Also make sure that the system has space (and PSU strong enough) to accommodate your graphics card.

P.S in case that wasnt clear, your GPU is fine enough to play left for dead at a normal resolution (e.g 1080p) the rest of your system especially the CPU is the problem that's why I recommended the purchase of a new one for a relative low price, in which then you can add your GPU later and play some games at normal or high graphics depending on the title (with the reference computer and your GPU do not expect to play cyberpunk at high graphics but counter strike, lol, left 4 dead would be playable at normal/high )

iirc, i ran that game at high settings 1080p with a hd 6850 which has only 1gb vram and afaik 750 is atleast 50% faster than that old beast (he mentioned 2gb vram so i wonder if it's a 750 ti which i currently own, so in that case it should be twice as fast) anyway, left 4 dead 2 is a game from 2009 and that gpu can run even gta 5 with lower settings, i never heard of a gtx 750 with 2gb vram so i am assuming he has a 750 ti which gives me stable 60-70fps in a much newer demanding game like GTA V at 1080p high (POST FX set to normal), i truly believe his ram being a bottleneck here, 2gb ram is barely enough for running windows processes itself let alone a triple a title, i really wonder if he can even browse properly with more than 2 tabs open without even running any app in background, he should atleast upgrade to 4gb if not 8gb (which i highly recommend) and an ssd for that snappy experience in windows 10

I am gonna updrade to 8gb ram

makes no sense, same socket doesn't mean shit, i have a 7th gen ddr4 system now but still yours is miles ahead in terms of mobo, cpu and gpu

then it probably is, have fun it's decently powerful for older games and even some newer ones at lower settings as that extra 1gb vram compared to normal 750 will give you an edge and it's only 20% slower than my 750 ti, i think you can have decent gaming experience, atleast way better than before

great, sweetspot for low budget rn, can play many modern games if you don't run alot of things in background

Thank you very much

Is that a laptop CPU in a desktop

A shop near me said he could change the cpu

"A shop near me" always makes me nearly cry. I've seen some shops near me charge £100 for a 250GB HDD replacement, they could have at least put an SSD in for that price. I would advise you to do this sort of stuff your self, there are lots of tutorials online and it is really easy to learn.

It is still a very slow CPU, what budget do you have. You could order a cheap Xeon combo from Aliexpress or pickup a used Dell or Lenovo from eBay for cheap

Why spend lot's of money having a new BGA CPU installed when the architecture is so old. I wouldn't justify doing it for a 5th gen laptop, and the A6 is like a 2nd gen intel. What is your budget ?

quadcore is still a decent upgrade i guess despite being a bit old and slow

No it isn't, the indivisual cores have very low performance to them. There is no point spending money to have a BGA chip soldered on, that's not exactly gonna be cheap
