Depends on the device, and how much it's used, my laptop takes about 1hr to go down, and that's shitty

Ive got an LG G2 3000mAh.. been on for 11hrs 30mins and its at 79%.. that includes using a bit too. Best smartphone battery I have come across, I will never go less than 3000 again!.. plus it recharges super fast.

I wish it lasted a month though.. I hope battery technology makes a breakthrough soon

you guys are insane charging your phones every single day and seeing that as natural, i would NEVER put up with that, hence i wont get a fancy smartphone with a gigantic screen as they are a pain in the arse.

your phone should at the very least last for a couple of days+.

Pretty simply, anything that can get through one day of heavy usage. I really don't care beyond that since I would just charge it for the night. Not many devices can do that unfortunately.

I have just  gotten used to it with a charger next to my bed. and I use it as an alarm clock to so it doesn't bother me

Taking 1 second to plug it in and 1 second to unplug it doesn't seem like a huge trade off to get essentially a computer in your pocket. If wireless charging becomes the norm then you won't even have to plug it in.

Most phones have way too few battery. I use my Nexus 4 for listening to music on my way to university and the way home. I also send about 5-20 messages in whatsapp a day. My battery is usually at 30% at the end of the day, which is RIDICULOUS! If i use my phone just a tad more, i have to plug it in at least at 5 or 6 pm because battery is dead.

who cares...

Anything that can last 1 day of heavy use at the least. Charging it overnight isnt bothersome but I would love it to last a week ... it will never happen. Right now its shitastic everywhere unless you go back to flip phones with calls only.

Imo if the battery allows 24 hours non stop of video, your good to go. No one does 24 hours of video but it would be a very good benchmark I think.

What phones have you had? I can do that easily with my note 2. I was so chuffed after I got it and used it all day (from 8 a.m to like 2 a.m) and still had like 15% left :P

I can still just about do that and I have had it since late 2012 :D

Droid razr HD. Take if off charge around 7am. After a day of heavy use about 30ish% at about midnight.

Dang, you should try find a custom rom for that S4 that optimises battery life better. If you like TouchWiz you don't need to give that up with a custom rom, there should be plenty "stock" customs available for the S4

Yah, i'll see how it goes the next couple months. I think I'll just buy the G2 successor next year/end of this year.
