Why is my Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD moving at 6000 +MB/s read and write?

One of My Samsung 860 Evo 1tb SSD is pulling 6000 +MB/s read and write speeds which is nearly twice as fast as my Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVME drive.  Is there a way to get my NVME and other Samsung solid state drive to reach the speeds forementioned?

SATA literally CANNOT reach such speeds, which should make it very obvious that those numbers are some sort of a bug.

Well, there's definitely something weird going on, because going by your first post's numbers the SSDs had very different amount of GB used, and by the new crystal numbers they both say 583GB used.

Something is going on, I have to check my partitions.  Because I only have one drive that's 63% used.

I forgot what linus used but there is another one yeah, linus uses another program to test SSDs other than CrystalDiskMark

I ran two more benchmarks same results.  No need to beat a dead horse I presume.  The drive works and in the real world during my use it reads and writes much faster than my nvme so I'm happy.  Thanks again guys for trying to help me out.

Do you maybe have RAPID turned on for that particular drive in the Samsung Magician software?  That always makes the benchmarks be BS.  I see multiple people bringing this up but I don't see where you (@robertplatinum) answered.

If you have RAPID turned on, you actually benchmark your RAM, not the SSD, just turn it off, it's not affecting performance in any meaningful way, and it uses your RAM.
