I want a Scarlett 6i6 but im not sure about how it operates... Im going to probably go into a shop and ask someone about it. I dont want to outright replace my FCA1616 but its just too big to always have on my desk and it draws a lot of power when im only powering one mic and one set of low power headphones... So...yea...a smaller interface with an actual power switch (Unlike the FCA1616 for some reason) would be just easier...and I want to paint one... I just do.

My next purchase will be a 4 disks NAS most likely Synology with 3-4 WD Red (4TB each) and a Zotac Nano like computer for my TV.

 

The goal is to centralise my data at home and avoid having 1 big case on TV and 1 for my computer. Ill also have my own cloud. This way, it will also reduce the energy consumption. Having my TV computer as a server is not efficient at all.

 

Too bad its 1500$ or so and I don't have the money for it yet.

Not 100% sure. My 680 broke last week, lost a RAM stick to 'errors-evrytim' a few weeks before that, and my file server has <10GB of free space left so I need to build me a new one of those too.
