The WAN show is the only livestream I watch so pardon any knowledge of the same... But how does Linus beep out his curse words on the WAN show in real time? I found it fascinating and wondered if there is a tool to automatically detect such language and respond by censoring...

He has a dedicated mixer. I don't remember the name of the product anymore tho.
Btw, why are we writing with this font & color?

Edit: I remembered. I think it's the GoXLR:

It would be cool if RTX voice could do something like that

Get silly with it, let the user censor the word "blueberry" or something

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

If anyone would be able to get such a feature going in software, it would be Teamspeak. (Or of course Google...)

no, google's voice recognition is shit, let alone it being fast enough to actually censor in real time.

maybe with english, but have you tried with spanish? literally gibberish, surprisingly Apples voice recognition for spanish was spot on.

to my knowledge google's voice recognition is actually really advanced, maybe not top of the line, but definitely up there.

for english? I've never had good experiences with any non-english language and google

I tried english and german and it works rather well, unless I used my old Galax S8. After I switched to a Pixel it went from "meh" to pretty good.

Yes, the google asssistant on my huawei p20 pro works great. It recognizes my voice nearly every time I say ok google and it rarely misunderstands what I'm trying to say.

@AvMaverick please keep normal conversation to default text style. We do not mind the occasional font changes but not with every comment/reply you make

Thank you.

Also,

I will get much hate over saying this, but, when Windows Phones were still a thing Cortana had very accurate speech recognition (on the phone) I do not know why it is not as good on the PC with Cortana /shrug but it was way better than Apple and Android/Google. Honestly I still think its better than today, my Android phone still has a hard time with understanding me, I rarely had and issue with Cortana.

Sure! My sincere apologies and I will comply.

That said, I hope I can still use these once in a while for the main description.

As long as it is not the entire description. Use restraint and keep it to a respectable amount.

To me, that opens the door to censorship.
One thing to remember, we all talk publicly in private controlled spaces. Is there public spaces on the internet ? (haven't looked)
But I guess it's like many other things, ex. a gas explosion is nothing you should get near, but in a controlled environment it's ok. A car :)
Big corp might have found a way to cut out the private user, nothing new but big corp has better playgrounds now.

Yeah that's the point... Self censorship. Literally a feature I was hypothesizing about.

This is a weird screed so I'm just gonna point out that google home and Alexa and stuff is definitely much worse than any kind of unethical audio recording technology that Nvidia might develop.

Seems like the change in leadership caused it,Steve Ballmer was replaced in 2014 by Satya Nadella,

Nadella is doing pretty bad job when it comes to the quality of products released under him.

Ballmer on the other hand was mixed, with ME,Vista and 8 as the bad ones, XP and 7 as the good ones.

what?

no one's saying we need RTX voice or an amazon alexa. and what is camoflaflated.

idk what you mean by "meet a person that is not on the web" or how that refers to anything fasauceome said, but I meet 100's of people a day at my job, and it's fine. I just don't like my IRL details getting mixed on the web with my online details, vice versa.
