This is why the firs tthing I always ask is. "What do you want to do with it. Usually I get "play games..." So the second question is of course "What games?" Not gonna throw $1,200 at a Bookface machine.

Don't unknowingly throw 780 Ti's at someone who wants to play Minesweeper.

I dont know.. minesweeper runs amazing on my 780. A 780ti would only make it better!

I built my friend a decent rig last winter. We just got our bonuses and he wanted to play Dayz, now he doesn't even use it. Maybe for HBO Go. He had the money and I wanted him to game with me.

 

He also bought a $3000 AR(rifle) since obama was talking about a AR ban, I think he has shot 20 rounds through it. But atleast you can justidy it for a zombie defense weapon. 

 

No for the ironic part of the story, he was giving me crap last month for putting 500 into my pc, tax return upgrades. I use my PC every day, from gaming to learning programming and just general everyday use. But I use it EVERYDAY! If I am not playing a game or reading the news, I am trying to learn some useful/useless(damn wikipedia link wh*ring) knowledge.
