My laptop is overheating and i can't figure out why

I thought my laptop was overheating because of bad thermal paste, so i cleaned off the old stuff, cleaned the fans and carefully applied liquid metal. That did bring the idle temps down, but every time i play a game the Gpu and Cpu go straight to 91c. does anyone know why this is happening??IMG-5514.thumb.jpg.454f7a94495503a663ee91d7feb20b3c.jpg

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

Welcome to laptop gaming... Thermals are always a challenge and never good on gaming laptops. Also, if it shoots up right away.. dont use LM.. use thermal paste.. likely bad mounting pressure causing the jump immediately.

There you have it. The laptop is simply too small to handle the thermal load of it's higher end specs and then you get this.

there isnt much you can do besides going hunting for bigger aftermarket coolers, but that is like searching a needle in a haystack

My wifes macbook air gets really, really hot. We've tried thermal pads (with a fan that plugs into the usb) and it seemed to help. You could give it a try, they're relatively cheap.
