Best monitor for overclocking under 100

Hello!

 

I am looking for a third monitor for my setup. I want to have a monitor that can overclock to over 100. There are some cheap 75hz monitors on amazon and newegg right now that i am considering but dont know if they can overclock.

From my understanding you're rolling the dice on overclocking a monitor. I guess the same holds true for just about anything you are trying to overclock.

Most monitors lock down if you try to do that id recommend buying one with the right hertz because even monitors over 800 dollars don't support it

ive seen some cheap 150 dollar monitors that have over clocked to 100 plus

I have not seen or heard of this. At most expect like 5-10Hz, that would be the norm, although for the most part anything past spec typically does not work (in my experience).

yea most monitors wont overclocked past spec, but there are some good sub 200 dollar overclocking monitors that i have heard exist. I have a friend who overclocked his 75hz to 120 and its still holding strong

Wow that's pretty impressive. The most I've gotten out of a monitor was 10Hz on a 75Hz Asus VP248QGL. Unfortunately I do not have any recommendations on a monitor that OC's well.
