What to do with 10,000 dollars... (PC wise)

Should I build one kick-ass completely overkill 10,000$ PC or five 2000$ PC's along the years to experience different technologies and generations of hardware.

Other opinions and ideas are welcome.

I would actually just take $8,000 of that $10K and buy a decent car with it and then build a $2,000 rig with the rest. :D

How are they not? You make more annual profit from stocks alone than if you put it in the bank for interest rates...

The stock markets on the rise right now too. Solar Stocks are booming.

I am I am. It would be fun if he actually had the money for such lunacy.

Kids these days...

No no. It's a troll. He doesn't actually have the money.

Stocks are never guaranteed. You could lose all of the money.

High interest savings plans on the other hand are decent.

Stock markets aren't destroying the economy.... bad laws and regulations are....

The stocks themselves are necessary for our economy to work.... Economics 101 mate.

I'm a Day Trader I wouldn't just talk about stocks if I didn't know anything about em.

True, but technical readings on stocks alone and companies with lots of assets such as google are basically 90% guaranteed for marginal profit. Google was $1000 now its $1200, that's a 20% increase right there. You are correct however its never 100% unless you can predict the future lol.

Well we have ETFs, Mutual Funds, and option trading too which diversifies your ability to make money. Far better than having it sit in your bank account(not that having some sit there isn't a bad idea).

Answer this simple question.

If you buy a stock for 50$ and sell it for 80$, where does that 30$ per stock come from?

It comes from the various other investors that bought the companies shares, therefore bumping up the companies net worth. Stocks are a Zero Sum Market, depending on how you trade.

Here read some investopedia they have lots of good info: http://www.investopedia.com/terms/z/zero-sumgame.asp

Haha, yeah. The only way you really make money if it's sitting in the bank is if you have millions of dollars in there.

Frankly, if that's the case it should be invested in real estate.
