On top of all that, it was "portable" and weighed only 26 lbs

Man sinclair was trash.

also, i'm quite sure you had an expansion slot because i don't remember a z80 with 64kb of built in ram

nevermind then, when you said 9" Monochrome i completely forgot that 9 inches is tiny

And also that it was 26 pounds

But wait, other computers used the Z80? i thought it was Sinclair Exclusive, since their computers were the zx 80, zx 81 and zx Specturm

Celeron 333MHz

64MB RAM (133MHz SDR)

S3 Savage 3D 8MB

4GB HDD

Diamond Monster MX200 or MX300 (Aureal Vortex powered soundcard)

Thanks to S3 graphic card, all Unreal Engine based games could be run through S3 Metal API which allowed me to run all the Unreal based games at stupid high framerate. And back in the day, there were tons of them running on this engine. Unreal Tournament and Deus Ex to name few. I have very fond memories of this system. There was Riva TNT and Voodoo 3 available already at that time, but this was surprisingly powerful system for what it was.

Well if your talking about a PC rig, it was in September of 2015.

CPU: Intel i7-4790k

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600 16GB (upgraded to 32GB later on before replacing the rig with my current computer).

MOBO: MSI Z95 Gaming 5

HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 1TB

GPU: 2x XFX Radeon R9 270X CDFC in Crossfire (later replaced by a MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X in 2017)

PSU: Corsair CX750 (Replaced with PSU in signature below and carried over)

Case: Corsair 400R

OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

I really played Battlefield 4 and Bad Company 2(tried running it on the Compaq down below...horrible experience), Minecraft, World of Tanks/World of Warships, and The Forest.

Before that, my first computer was a something like a Compaq Presario SR5501P that was kept stock for many years until the motherboard went in about 2013, later upgraded to an HP p7-1534 with one of the R9 270X I bought in put in the HP with that Corsair CX750 so I can start playing games. I still have the original CPU from that Compaq. Its an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ that was running Windows Vista at the time (I don't get all the hate for Windows Vista, I loved the UI but was probably too young to understand at the time).

I also have a Intel Pentium i200 that my dad got from a box of junk computer parts that I picked out and wanted to keep cause it looks cool.

Not my first ever computer, but the first I bought and built myself:

Core 2 Duo E7300, 2GB of 800Mhz OCZ RAM, PNY 9600GT, Biostar(?) P45 Motherboard, 500GB HDD.

I added a second 9600GT in SLI, OCed the E7300 to 4.0Ghz from 2.66Ghz, and upgraded it to 4GB of HyperX DDR2 when I gave it to my wife (then girlfriend) to use as her first gaming rig.

At that time I was using a Q8400 and a GTX 460 SE.

We played a hell of a lot of the original Borderlands, and it was fun as hell.

Very first computer... man I don't remember the specific specs but it was probably some original Intel Pentium running Windows 98. That would be the first actual computer I used when I was a kid. Next one was probably a Celeron machine than ran Windows ME (and honestly I don't recall it being as bad as people say it was) and then moved onto a Pentium 4 HT system running Windows XP. When that machine died since the Northbridge heatsink didn't want to stay resulting in the board burning out, I ended up using an Athlon XP 2600+ machine our neighbors sent to us when they were moving. That's when I got my first taste of overclocking. I still have all of those chips kept in a collection actually.

My first computer that was really "mine" (in the idea that I wasn't actively sharing it with my sister) was a Lenovo Flex 3, came with a TERRIBLE cpu, 2gb of ddr3, no graphics at all.
I basically fried it trying to play tf2 and overwatch, and then the screen broke while I was looking up pictures of Thanos lol.

I'm only 21 but the first computer I played games on was my dad's Power Macintosh 6500 (250MHz version). The one I have the most memories on was his Powerbook G4 - I remember sinking hundreds of hours into Lego Star Wars II.

Then there was the family laptop with a Core i3 2120m, which to me and my sister's delight, could run Skyrim at 1024x768.

The first PC that I built was in 2015 with a Core i3 4160 and a GTX 960, that was still in use till a few months ago. The GTX 960 is still in use and still runs the latest games at 1080p medium settings, 30-45fps, my sister uses it. I replaced the Core i3 4160 (and motherboard and RAM) with a 9100F, H310 board, and some DDR4 memory, so I could donate the old system.
