Yeh I see you pop up on my feed occasionally, you seem cool so I just followed you. I came back here recently too because my CPU died and I had to troubleshoot what was going on. Good luck on the monitor btw 144hz makes such a big difference.

Need GPU close to $200 cad for driving a 4k tv as media center.

how about the 1050 ti? -
So this is it. After taking it apart I found out that the monitor has a M270HTN02.2 panel. From what I've seen, the panel price exceeds the cost of the monitor's MSRP on Aliexpress ($160 shipping and $160 for the panel itself makes about $320) I've emailed some ppl from panelook and they said they don't have any in stock right now. If I manage to fix this, it would be the only non-60hz monitor I've ever owned. I don't even care if it's 1080p, this would make me so happy. With no news of Pro cards coming out anytime soon (apart from their current fastest, the Pro VII, which is still on Vega), what is AMD going to do to combat Nvidia on the professional front? I use Blenders Cycles and have a GTX 1070, and I was aware of the fact that AMD is currently giving money to Blender for AMD support. However, it seems to be that the program is going to remain heavily Nvidia-biased. Not that I think there would be or is anything now, but what is AMD's answer to workstations and the professional space? If their new GPUs can path trace with any renderer like Cycles at

Refurbished pc budget $220 lol I’m broke

i would heavily advise against 1x8gb as opposed to 2x4gb in a ryzen's excrement build. also isn't a320 cheaper -
ghhhh that looks like a dream I love it thanks for the info!

Would the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 fit into a Thermaltake V21 TUF?

if I won (very very slim chance lmao even though I live in BC) I'd totally want an MATX/ITX render BASHING setup with two GPUs on a single PCI-E slot like in their recent video or even just a single 3090 somehow, with as many cores as possible lol. Get those Blender renders at record speed... god can you imagine the viewport path tracing
