Best performing 120mm case fans - Static Pressure

Faddish Coder
Go to solution Solved by Mateyyy,

NF-A12x25, NF-F12 (chromax.black, iPPC), ML120 Pro (if you want RGB)

Hi experts,

I need good performing high static pressure 120mm case fans for use with a 280mm rad. Why? Because the 140mm fans it comes with don't fit in my case. This is for front-mounted radiator in push configuration.

Requirements:
- PWM

- High Static Pressure

- normal or smaller housing depth

Nice to have but not required:

- RGB/ARGB

Cost does not matter too much. I only need 2.

Thanks!

Edit: Also will add these are behind the mesh on meshify C. So the fans themselves can be ugly (Noctua brown...) while RGB or halo lighting will show through nicecly.

That'll probably be the A12x25. If you don't mind the look of it, it's about as good as a 120mm fan gets.

No problem!

Noctua mentioned they're struggling to make a 140mm that's better than the NF-A12x25 and that they're working on making their Sterrox material used for the fan in black.

A12x25 are definitely the best fans, but Arctic P12s are so damn close you probably shouldn't buy Noctuas.

Some info is from trade shows like CES booths or reviewers asking Noctua and others from their Twitter, Instagram, or just replies on their product pages on Amazon.

Their roadmap shows that the NF-A12x25 Chromax and 140mm version isn't planned to be too far off now although they've often delayed releases in the past if the product isn't ready. https://noctua.at/en/product-roadmap
