My memory is the nickname for those things was “flying saucers” because of their shape.  The days of ubiquitous police car models in North America seems to be gone at least ftm.

That is what architecture people do when they visit a building they want to learn from.  I suspect he did pretty much that as a young man to falling water or whatever.  The move for illustrators and painters is to look at paintings really closely.  Like from an inch away on a five foot painting.  It probably would have amused him and he would have gone “oh look! Its mostly ford explorers and for highway patrols chargers. ford killed there entire seadan lineup

Yeah dodge has durangos, and seen tahos, but that mostly what I have seen.

Haven’t seen a Buffalo yet but I understand there is one in town. They sort of make sense as a SWAT vehicle.

Ahh milatery surplus good veichials buffalos used to be used for EOD, so they are very much bullet proof.

They’ll do small arms and shrapnel I understand, so they should be able to handle  the odd deer rifle, which is what they’d most likely be facing.  Also they’re quite tall and square which is a weird thing to be an advantage, but because of that it could be used as a mobile bullet proof wall which may turn out to be real real handy

308 wouldnt do much to one of those.

They do have a high clearance.  They also have that vee hull though…  Maybe add a drop down armored panel covered with fire brick or something.  Longer than the ground clearance so it makes an angle when it touches the ground fire brick shatters and slows the round so it won’t go zipping right back at the shooter.
