A bit torn on this... Vancouver has one of the largest fully automated rapid transit system and track signaling issues often grind the whole system to a complete halt.

dont like how cars is going to be so expensive again. Where repairability is reduced and cost sky rockets... from just lights you need, or plastic tyres... good luck.

Else it can be fun with el-cars, so what if you could simulate manual driving in an electric car but still feel sort of good?

I get the impression they’re no more awful than regular pods. I don’t really understand pods.  They’re more expensive than liquid cold press which is better coffee and easier to make.
Price of consumables would need to be looked at.  The pod system is out of patent whereas this is not.  Also the mechanism seems complex.  It could have reliability issues.

Sounds a bit more hardcore than the way it is done in the US, but not a whole lot.  Quality of materials do seem a lot better.  Regan worked hard reducing that one.  The argument Regan used was that students often threw most of the food away. (Because it was low quality compared to what a lot of them got at home, so the GOP solution was to make it worse)  I wonder how many Japanese students throw away most of their lunch?
