With the first one Notice she’s doing a solo in a multi story space without a microphone.  That is not easy to do.  Most pro singers just can’t.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

All four have microphones. She has one down, strap on her shoulder ... I think she has to keep that type of mic further away due to the higher frequencies she can do and the volume level.

You'll see later in the video that the first guy's microphone acts up and he uses the first woman's microphone.

Ah.  I didn’t see it.  you’re right though. A bud microphone.

The whole point behind opera originally was to be loud.  There was a woman in our church when I was growing up who was clearly operatically trained, and until she learned to modulate it she would drown out basically the entire rest of the congregation.  A mall would be exceptionally hard though.  Great big echoey space.  The only thing I can think of that would be worse would be some “world of bean bag chairs” or outside with no stage or bandshell or something.

I consider the word “wellness” to be a massive red flag.  The thing about the word “wellness” is it has no legal meaning.  Someone who is a “wellness” professional has absolutely nothing to do with actual medicine and has no training requirements and is not liable.  ‘Health’ has a legal meaning.  ‘Medical’ has a legal meaning. ‘wellness’ does not even though it implies the other two.  It’s like a marketing word instead of a real word.  It’s point is to avoid legal action.  It’s like shouting “I am not a medical professional.  This should not be legally considered medical advice” and real medical professionals KNOW IT.  So they don’t use it. (At least most of the time it gets used) It’s functionally pretty close to “I am a mountebank.  I have nothing to offer but quackery” it’s a word con artists use to work chakras and holistic ‘medicine’ next to actual medical care.  It’s gotten really popular lately.  So popular that people with actual medical training can’t avoid it.  If I personally see the word ‘wellness’ on anything I walk in the other direction.   My stepmother hates this.  She also bought a pocket vest for several hundred dollars called a “moss vest” the pockets of which were supposed to be filled with moss to prevent cosmic rays during air travel.  It’s a subject of much humor in the family.

So you're saying what he show in that video and his past videos for many years is just a marketing gimmick and the patients is paid actor/actress?

You shot down a chiropractor with decades of training and experienced just because the intro had the word "wellness" in it instead of looking at what he offers and the knowledge he shared?  🤔

No.  I would expect the woman is real.  The word “wellness” is synonymous with someone ducking the law though.  It’s actually what it is for and why it was created.  Chiropractic is useful.  It’s about spines though.  they’re specialists in spinal problems. Sort of a rather specialized physical therapist for a set of extremely complicated joints with vast ramifications.  Why is this guy talking about mandibular TMJ  and diet?  Individual people have got to make a living though and people who have chiropractic training are known do delve into other things.  There are lots of chiropractors.  I’ve run into terrific ones and I’ve run into extremely scary charlatans. chiropractic is real. chiropractors are humans just like everyone else.  Good and bad.   The key word used was “wellness”.  Dude is apparently a chiropractor.  He knows what the word means.  And he’s using it.  If I shot him down I don’t feel at all bad about it.

Can he actually duck the law if something bad happen when he adjusting?

Common problem among his patients and I guess over the years he learnt what works and what not. What's wrong with that?

Yes, there's a lot more bad chiropractor than a good one. I don't really understand the malicious intent around the word wellness though, is it a bad word?

I never had a kanga but I did have a 3400c.  Or maybe the one after it.  I remember it was faster than hell for the time. Fastest laptop ever made to that date.  It was actually a pretty cool machine.  It had all kinds of expansion stuff.  That case was like half bays for various things.  It had two battery slots which was an amazing feature.  You could hot swap batteries.  You actually NEVER had to plug it in and it would run forever if you had a separate battery charger and two batteries (which I did). If I could get one of those with modern hardware in it I’d take it in a minute. Have it somewhere there’s no outlet “oh no the battery is near dead. I got to go to the living room for a minute…” pull the cd-rom, slap in a fresh battery, pull out the dead one, drop it in the charger, and stick the cd-rom where the dead battery was.  Never even sleep the thing.  Also there was a subwoofer behind the screen (that’s what that dent is) so the sound was amazeballs for a laptop. Back when I had no grey hairs and weighed a little more than half what I do now… The thing is a lot smaller than I remember more thick less wide.  Back in the day…*sigh*

You must have had a Wallstreet G3. The 3400c and Kanga only had one battery slot.

Eventually I'll have to try rebuilding a couple batteries for my 540c. It's got a third-party PowerPC upgrade and the unobtainium PCMCIA cage. Years and years ago I had a 520c with the passive matrix color display, but it was gotten rid of. Recently I got all nostalgic and bought the 540c.

Kids these days have no idea how good they have it; today even "cheap" low end LCDs are amazing compared to what we had then!

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

Adjusting a spine no if he’s a chiropractor.  He’s certified for that.  Everything else yes though.

it may be common and he’s got a lot of experience, but he’s still not an osteopath or a GP.  I’ve heard of chiropractors getting full MDs.

the deal is the word “wellness” is not actually a medical word.  It implies the ability to provide medical care but legally is a nonsense term.  It’s sort of legal cover for practicing without a license.  “Wellness” can be crystal worship or Tibetan bells and incense as easily as anything else.   I could put out a “wellness” shingle if I wanted.  It is not a term to be trusted and it’s use by someone with a license usually means “I am overstepping my license”.

Wall Street is a name I remember.  Also 3400c though.  Maybe I had both.  It was a long time ago.

One of my step-mother’s relatives was a german general in world war 2 who didn’t like Hitler, so he was sent as a military advisor to Chaing Kai-shek, so he would have been at least peripherally involved in this.  These were specifically people hitler didn’t think much of though.  They were sent half-way round the world for a reason.

The moral of the story in this case is if you do AMD CPUs keep your fricken bios updated!

If I had seen this video before I had bought my machine I might have bought this thing.  Depending on availability and price this might be a good thing to build a cheapass system on.

Looks like they’re available for $150.  Price is right too.  You can do one of these for about the same price as an amd4500/a520 build, 2 more cores.  It’s just better.

UPDATE: According to @toasty99 it’s got pcie4 and will XMP to 3200 and resizable bar.  So totally better. ~$300 for the machine plus as much video card and monitor as is appropriate for your budget.

Yeah. Mine had some weird hiccups due to SATA shenanigans. Then updated the bios and it went away.

This issue is one of the reasons you have to put your build on all troubleshooting requests and some people don’t even bother to answer if there isn’t one.  I do but usually to request one. If they’ve got an AMD cpu the first thing is always “is your bios up to date?”  It’s before even “is it plugged in” and “have you turned it off and on”. It’s also the reason I won’t buy an AMD board without some kind of cpuless bios flash.  You have to do it so often that corrupted bios becomes a statistically significant concern.
