AIO under 70 for Ryzen 5 2600x.

Hey guys. Lately i have been playing a lot of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. One time when i was playing i decided to check my temps with MSI afterburners overlay. I was surprised that the game is more CPU intensive than GPU intensive. My RX580 overclocked never goes above 75, while my CPU is always over 75. The most i have seen the CPU go up to is 85-87. I don't really like these temps this high so i decided i want an aio for superior temps. i found one on Newegg for cheap.https://www.newegg.com/cooler-master-masterliquid-240-lite-liquid-cooling-system/p/N82E16835103252?item=N82E16835103252&source=region&nm_mc=knc-googleadwords-pc&cm_mmc=knc-googleadwords-pc-_-pla-_-liquid+%2f+water+cooling-_-N82E16835103252&gclid=CjwKCAjwnK36BRBVEiwAsMT8WIit8C166dEfwYczveItDpFSckS4k6WBlGckgbwwZLjDPM7s4ONICxoCWLwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Do you guys have any suggestions on aio under 70? Also if there is a better air cooler under 70 you can tell me about that too. This isnt strictly about aios.

Thanks in advance :)

Considering your budget, I'd probably look at an air cooler instead.

For $60 or thereabouts you can get an NH-U12S chromax.black or a Dark Rock 4, or maybe something like a Scythe Fuma 2 (I've seen it being recommended several times, though I'm not personally too familiar with it).

get a hyper 212 or an arctic freezer 33/34. more than enough and they should be around 25-35 bucks. a cheapo aio wont be very good and can be a hazard to your components.

topics i need help on:

PSU: Seasonic Prime Ultra Titanium 750W w/ black/white Cablemod extensions
Case: Fractal Design Meshify C Dark (to be replaced with a good case shortly)

basically everything was bought used off of reddit or here, only new component was the case. absolutely nutty deals for some of these parts, ill have to tally it all up once it's "done" :D

For $60 or less, you can get a Scythe Fuma 2. Don't have to worry about dead pump or leakage.

Would this fit in a matx case?

The one i linked got good reviews. One person in the reviews said that it preforms better than a hyper 212 evo. I dont mind spending up to $70. I just want the best cooling experience i can get under 70. Thanks for the response. i will look into the Artic freezer

I kind off want a 240. I have heard they preform significantly better than 120s. Don't quote me on that tho. Not sure if thats true

Your case supports up to air tower cooler up to 159mm tall. The Scythe Fuma 2 is 155mm tall. It fits nicely.

Sounds good. Ill look into that. Thanks!

its very true but 240mm isnt spectacular either. i wouldnt spend under 100 bucks on one (actually wouldnt get a 240mm at all but anyways...) and that would be the arctic freezer aio, getting one from a less reputable brand is inadvisable at best. the fuma 2 would match a 240mm aio, though its always out of stock cause its that good for the price. still, for a 2600x a cheap air cooler would be more than enough, miles ahead of the stock wraith.

The cooler master one linked is 75 on Amazon so for 55 on Newegg is that a good buy? I found the Fuma 2 for 55 on amazon same price :) So that would mean i could either spend 55 on a 240 aio OR on a really good air cooler that will be the same or better. Plus i wont have to worrie about pump faliure

One more thing, i have a very small motherboard and ram right next to the cpu. Would it fit in memory clearance. Also i don't have very good intake fans so my components dont get to much air. This is fine for my gpu tho.

Yes the Sythe Fuma 2 has a front fan that is 15mm instead of 25mm meaning the ram will fit.

RAM clearance shouldn't be a problem for Fuma 2. Get a few Arctic P12 fans. They are good performance like Noctua S12A, but dirt cheap. $7 for one or $30 or 5. Use them as intake.

Seems like they are hot potato now, and the price got driven up. They should be $7 a piece and less than $30 for a pack of 5. I read some people find  $25 for 5.

You only need two for intake.
