So I was scrolling through my YouTube feed and I saw this:

Did anyone else know about this?  Is this been a while and I’m just now seeing it? @LinusTech is that you? Is it a professional Linus impersonator? The video seems so be pretty new, but did the interviews happen months ago? Im listening to it now but wanted to share.

EDIT: at 1:17 he says Will Whedon.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

That creative life is a podcaster who did a longform interview with Linus a few weeks ago, found here.

The clips channel is apparently where she releases more "youtube friendly" clips.

Decent podcast, worth a watch on the linus episode!

That was a segment from his second interview with That Creative Life. She is a tech youtuber who does some product videos but is (from what I’ve seen) mostly doing her podcast right now. That was only a part of it and the rest is also on her channel.

If you found that interesting, you should watch his first one. He went in depth about his past and some very interesting aspects of LMG. She has also interviewed other popular tech youtubers like mkbhd and Austin Evans.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Quote or tag me so I can see your response

Sara is a small youtuber that produces content focused around cameras and video ediiting and stuff. She also hosts a small podcast where Linus was on. You can find the full interview on "That creative life" 's youtube channel. it was a good interview, worth the watch if you put it up to 2x speed.

What offensive comments from this guy.

Elite (overclocking forum) are a bunch of jackasses that won't share information???

I come here all the time and share tons of useful information. I've been in OC forums years and years before LTT was a thing.

How about take the time and share information in your own forum of which you Dont ever participate in.

On the OC forums being dead.... none of them where started by a you tube channel first off and secondly those forums where around a decade or better before LTT youtube was even thought of.

A lot of top OCers from (OCN in particular) cant share information or certain things because they work with many tech manufacturers be it motherboards or delid tools.

Fn guy thinks he special. Special edition, but probably has 0 overclocking skills and would need a stage hand or stunt double to pour LN2.

End rant.

I'll make it clear - I'm part of the "So called" Elite forum scene and I do share what I know as I can.
Bones @ HWBOT
Just so you know.

I've posted about many things from the viewpoint we all had to start somewhere and frankly I'm still learning myself because if you ever get to the point you know it all, you're in trouble.
I remember how it was back when I was learning how it all worked and with each hardware gen it's a new ball game with the changes and advances with the tech itself. That's why I do post if I can help with things from the simple to the more complex stuff.

I will say there are some places that won't share info so readily, esp if you're not part of the group or clique. Personally I can't help that and for those that are like that there isn't much you can do BUT I will say alot of the guys involved in other places are VERY helpful too.

Good points within the above post BTW.

The thing here to me is he doesn't know the guys and he's passing judgement with the statement that was made. He's not involved to even see things from that perspective and from what I understand has no intent to, so that's all on him.

Some of the guys have their reasons, GOOD reasons for not sharing info and most of those are probrably related to their industrial ties.

I'm not going to ask those I know that's involved much due to that simple fact and yes, we all have out "Little Secrets" we keep for various reasons. I mean if everyone knows it, well, it's no longer a secret... Right?

I do know a few folks here and there with ties directly to the industry and I can ask.... But then again I can't if that makes sense.

I will say the respect I've earned within this clique is why I can but then again there is a defined limit too for just how much (And what) you can ask about.

Those guys worked to earn the trust to even have access to all this, I can't blame them for being quiet about things because that's expected of them and if they don't it's a short, quick trip to being "Out".

If he's being pissy just because he got shot down when he asked a question about something along those lines, too bad.

"If you ever need anything please don't hesitate to ask someone else first"..... Nirvana
"Whadda ya mean I ain't kind? Just not your kind"..... Megadeth
Speaking of things being "All Inclusive", Hell itself is too.

Oh, they actually uploaded the entire interview ? I remember having seen the podcast version going up a while ago and people (myself included) wanting the video version.

Cool to see they made a new channel for it 2 weeks ago.

I enjoyed the first podcast episode she had with him on it.

I think I also saw the short version of him talking about the forum.

That was good too.

I just wish all podcasts were shorter, like 25 minutes max. I used to listen to some podcasters on my iPad faithfully but I just don't have time to listen to such long shows anymore. Hour and a half, two hours or even more. Who has time for that even with covid shelter in place, bad economy. I just can't waste that much time in one day on one thing on a regular basis and still do everything else I want to do. 🤖

Podcasters in general remind me of my dear departed mother. She was the nicest lady on earth but when she would start talking about something she liked... Hours later when your ears started bleeding and you couldn't stand it anymore. You had to leave the room. 🤕

(Respect to Mom though, In Heaven I hope.)

😁
