Where do I plug in my Ethernet cable (PCIe Network Switch)

JakxterX

So I was thinking about getting a PCIe Network Switch because I want to connect 3 devices to the Internet with my ethernet cables but I can only connect one of them to my Router so my question is can I plug my Ethernet cable into my Motherboard und use a

Ziyituod PCIe Netzwerkkarte, RJ45 * 2 Port https://www.amazon.de/Ziyituod-Netzwerkkarte-1000Mbit-32-Bit-PCIe-Schnittstelle-kompatibel/dp/B07TD58PBQ

/ref=psdc_1626220031_t3_B071R3YS2H?th=1

to connect them from my Switch to the other devices or do I have to plug in my cable from the router into the switch and then do I need a RJ45 * 4 Port?

If so  I would appreciate any recommendations in that regard.

I am from Germany if that helps in any way and sorry for my bad writing skills and thank you in advance !

You don't want a NIC if you just want to plug more devices into your router using one cable. Google "Network Switch". If anything says Hub stay away from it.

I'm assuming a network switch is what you want.

This (or the 8 port) is what you need:

1 cable from the router to the switch and then the remaining ports from the switch to your devices.

Here's a  filtered search on Geizhals.de for switches. You may not take the cheapest, but I guess for less than €20 you get a decent 8 Port 1Gbit switch.

Just connect your router to the switch and your devices to the switch.
