I very much liked putting an old heatsink on my desk as a conversation piece

Buy a TEC chip and mount it on the heatsink and mount the heatsink onto an old cpu, apply power to the TEC and see the temps go negative O_O

Just keep it as it is. Time comes you want to sell your rig, the buyer might ask you for that.

Yeah, I already took the fan off and know what you are talking about, but sadly (happily actually-wouldn't want an addiction) I don't smoke.

Protip: Don't use a 63W unit for a 73W CPU. Mine got warmer than stock.

Reduce > Reuse > Recycle

It could be a weapon just in case someone break in. It has some hefty weight into it, and the blade might do more damage than expected.

It's hard to handle without precaution; I wouldn't want it spinning towards me.

im using my stock cooler as a heat sink for a small speaker amp i built.
