Is it safe to leave link inside the case like this?

Yrag

That’s a 2070 next to him... I’ve seen people leave funkos and what not inside cases.  This makes me nervous though as his bow has an actual string on it and he’s right next to a 2070.  Is this safe?  Thank you in advance for input!

I'm sure it would be fine.

This is the fourth topic on the forum this week asking about putting figurines/toys in PCs. What on Earth is going on to cause the sudden interest in toys inside a computer case?

I think more people have time to spend on their PCs atm... and we don’t want to burn our houses down while doing it.. that’s my educated guess :)  thank you for a bit of peace of mind!

If you think it's humane to put some one in a blue lighted, windowed cell on display with all the noise and heat. Look like kind of torture to me... ;)

Wait till it escalates and someone starts asking if it's fine to put a massive RGB dildo inside a PC case...

It's fine but this will degrade your figure. Depending on the type of paint it could wear out. That string you mentioned could wear out as well.

Other than a small restriction in air flow ...

they protect you against ....

Covid 19.  The virons stick to the figurine and are neutralized by the deadly RGB radiation.
