Vertical PC Building VS Horizontal PC Building

How many people have built a PC Case horizontally and how many people have built a pc case vertically??

 

Doing some research for a School project! 

 

1 - Horizontal

2 - Vertical

 

Would love to know why as well if you have the time!!

Give us some examples cus ive built my PC like ive done for 30 years. I dont know what you mean.

Do you mean flat (old skool desktop), as opposed to tower?  Not even sure you can get 'traditional' desktop cases any more...

So for example, on recent LTT videos like this 

 Where Anthony builds his PC lying down on the desk

 

Whereas Linus, builds his PC standing up on its case feet.

You mean what attitude the case is in, when you build it...?  Purely personal, I'd say... but I mix as the need requires.

I'm referring to the way a PC builder builds inside their case, rather than the way the case is designed. 

 

Horizontal building like Anthony

I'll try and make a poll now. What do you think would be the names for the two answers in the poll, because the way i asked it before seems to have brought a lot of confusion to what i mean.

Purely that aspect of the build - Horizontal (safer).
