Ram not wanting to overclock

so i have corsair vengeance RGB pro 32gb (2X16gb) and with xmp enabled its still wanting to run at 2133 MHz instead of 3200 MHz

You will have to manually select the frequency you want if you're using asrock or gigabyte boards. Same can be done with Asus or MSI but they select the rated speed automatically if you use auto

Make sure you have the latest bios for your chipset

never heard of that...My gigabyte works fine on auto with the XMP profile

okay i changed that and still running at 2133, would this mean i need a bios update like TofuHaroto suggested?
