What was the first video game you ever played?

ViruZ_HUN

I'd probably have to admit Maplestory. The amount of hours I spent on that pointless and unrewarding game was ridiculous..

My first console was a gamecube sooo... Luigi's Mansion had many hours logged on it.

Hocus Pocus! I played that game at basically every chance I got for a few months straight.

I think it was probably 'Speedway Math.' It was an arithmetic learning game on old floppy disks... I was beast at that in grade school. Then Oregon Trail came along....

man some of these posts make me feel old...and I'm still freaking young haha. The PC gaming community is no doubt a young and fast moving breed. Anyways this couldn't have come at a better time!

I haven't taken the time to look through all the post, so I'm just gonna throw a shout out to everyone who said Kingdom Hearts. Blew my socks off as a kid.

On a side note (for all you Kingdom Hearts Fans out there), I had the opportunity to attend an exclusive lecture with President Bob Iger who said Kingdom Hearts was one of the biggest risks he took throughout his career with Disney, and he was pleasantly surprised by its success. This made me happy  :D

What is the first game you played and absolutely loved?

Edit: mine was Gears of War 2, I played the shit out of horde mode, but that was before I knew of the master race. Sadly, no emulator for it yet.

The very first PC game I ever played when it first came out was Odd World!
