What is the best power supply?

what is the best power supply for the top of highest end builds? Like around 650 watts atleast. price is not a concern. The best suggestion I've gotten is AX Series AX1000 — 850 Watt 80 PLUS Titanium Certified Fully Modular ATX PSU

Liking something does not make it good, the AXi quality wise is much better. That said the RMx is still good, just not better in this scenario.

You have smth specific in mind or that's just a general question ? Because if we're going for best PSU out there, it's Corsair AX1600i but it's freaking expensive and in most cases you wouldn't need even half of power it provides.

Kind of general. Like I don't need something with more than 1000 watts. But like the most efficient, reliable, long lasting.

Do any of the hx series come in 80+ titanium? I'm only looking for something at the level of titaniun

Checking Corsairs site, it does not appear so. Their AX series come in Titanium.

only AX and AXi do in the Corsair lineup, and the only Titanium rated unit the OEM (CWT) currently offers is Enermax's Maxtytan and some thermaltake unit, with soon Be Quiet Dark power pro 12 adding to that

 

and AX is just a rebranded Seasonic Prime with minimal modification

Here is the build I'm looking to build:

 

Processor/Cpu:i9 9900KS
Graphics card/Gpu: Nvidia RTX titan
Motherboard: asus rog zenith II extreme alpha
Case: larger case that depends on motherboard and cooling system
Power supply: still to be determined but must be atleast 80+ titanium

RAM: G. Skill Trident Z neo DDR4 4x16(memory should be unregistered to help with extra frequency) (probably a single stick of 32 gb of 
Storage/SSD: sabrent rocket pcie 4.0 nvme m.2 ssd (get heatsync if not built into motherboard)(make sure its up to date, also get a second SSD for more memory)
Cooling system: probably AIO or custom cooling system.

you're pairing a threadripper board with a 9900ks...

 

but in your case one of the following would meet

• Seasonic Prime titanium/TX 650w+
• Corsair AX (same thing)
• Raidmax Monster RX-AT (though on the louder side)
• EVGA supernova T2
• Superflower leadex titanium (same thing)
• Enermax Maxtytan
• Cooler Master Masterwatt maker
• Corsair AX1200i/1500i/1600i

Thanks for your suggestions. Do you have a better suggestion for a motherboard for this setup? I honestly don't know how about motherboards other than asus making the best boards

that last part is an outright lie, you can't just go by a company, you go by model. half of Asus's maximus line sucked in that generation (hero/crosshair/formula), while the other half was very good (gene/apex/extreme)
