I've got a stock of Universe tasks for my 3900X to chew on so I'll keep on it. Are we content with our current placement @ 13th? It would take a significant effort to move up more ranks unless someone still has a large bunker to release.

@leadeater still have quite a bit that need to upload. On my side I have two servers full and waiting their turn to offload. I feel the situation is normalizing on the project end. But I am not putting more ressources on it until I have a decreased my backlog to a reasonable amount

I should have almost 6,000 NumberFields tasks bunkered by the start of the throw.

 

There's a 7-day deadline on them so I could hold some back for a later throw as they mention a possibility of a 2nd GPU project in an event.

I'm getting a solid 97-98% with 2 tasks per GPU on Ubuntu with the rest of the unused threads running Rosetta

Yeah, NumbersFields, 2 tasks per GPU for now, yes - Windows 10. Max it goes is 90-93% but that is while I am in WoW and running youtube. 

 

Also, I have a problem with bunkering them. Everything else seems to bunker okay, but NumbersFields ignores my options and auto uploads everything.

Universe upload situation is mildly better, if it keeps improving I'll go back to focusing on Universe.

Someone better check, I can't as my GPU system has to stay off network right now. If it's a GPU enabled project we may need to rethink our Javelin strategy.

You need to restrict upload speed to 0.01kos annd restrict transfert time to 00:00 00:01 per day. Otherwise the task are so small that they escape

All my universe finally uploaded! 

Looks like we got a nice boost (not from me though)! we are almost past team in 12th place!

 

I tried starting to bunker amicable.. but its just not working well to run numbers and amicable at the same time.. thought it would.. Ill keep working on numbers.  I have around 800 WU stored now.  I have to throw most of it upfront, before they expire.

The sign-up page was giving me Captcha errors so I'll sign-up through BOINC manager.

Universe is now going well with the upload 

Still a bit of backlog but I am starting to put back the servers that have emptied their upload queues. 

 

Gonna start my vega on amicable, hope it performs better than on numbers. Had to stop the 2070, temperature are starting to be high here and the laptop was suffering, also deactivated boost clock on the cpu .

 

After the shootout do we have a positive response?

 

Unrelated question:

- I need to switch my primary boot drive from a 500gb to 1tb disk, anyone knows a good tool to clone and expand the old drive on the new drive?

Well cancel that idea. Amicable Numbers appears to want 8.5GB RAM per GPU task and even with just Amicable running one task on one of my 2070 Supers with 16GB RAM and 20GB Swap on an i9-9900K it still fails out with Computation Errors.

 

It's late, I'm tired and going to bed but first I'm putting this puppy back on Number Fields.

If the target drive is a Samsung use there Data Migration tool it's one of the best but only works with Samsung drives as the target.

the 800 pound paid gorillia is Acronis.

 

Macrium Reflect has a free version.

 

CloneZillia is not for the inexperienced but if you understand what you are doing works well.

 

I usually just start anew with a fresh OS install then mount the old media and copy over what I need.

lol well i put my Scooty Puff SR onto Amicable As the Vega GPU in it does good Points wise....i think...i know i will get more points on it with amicable than with Rosetta 

 

it will only give me 20 GPU tasks but will take it 1.16 hrs each then 17 CPU tasks at 2 hrs...

 

Calculon will join in on Amicable as well with his 5700xt(23MINS PER TASK) and 3900x(45MINS PER TASK@19 THREADS) and 64 gb ram lol and calculon destroys my xps lol  here is a picture to compare the two...

trying to locate more memory for bender...if i find more will put him off f@h and put him on to Amicable as well...

Amicable run well on ATI card, but only gave me 20 tasks (6h about). its gonna be annoying to bunker well.

Also after seeing what it does on RAM... suddently love rosetta.
