AMD recommends a 450 watt PSU for an RX 570, and that really should be considered the minimum. I wouldn't count on anything lower than that not giving you problems because it don't quite measure up to the standard. I'd go a little higher than that, at least a 600-650 watter, if not 850 watt PSU.

They say that to avoid problems with people using shitty low wattage PSUs. For example a 400W be quiet! Pure Power 11 would work great with a system like that, but a shitty one might have issues.

Getting anything more than 500W on a system like that would be kinda stupid, particularly because a good 600W+ PSU would end up costing almost the same as half the system.

I don't think EVGA got any good 400W PSUs so you should probably upgrade it.

You have no idea what model your PSU is?

This just adds to the testament that people just don't give a crap what PSU they have.

AFAIK:  The only "400W" EVGA PSU is the "N1", then it's an absolute piece of crap that shouldn't be used to power more than a potato.

What does "N1" mean anyway? Is it about the quality of the PSU itself?

😆 Oh, I see, well the verdict is in then.

@Cxsmo

You should replace that PSU ASAP before its too late. The negative reviews on Amazon in of itself will tell you that buying it is a mistake. Its a piece of dog shit.

It could run it, but its a matter of if you should. As a few have already said, assuming its the n1, it's definitely not recommended and may be worth an upgrade for the longevity and especially if you're planning on various future upgrades.

Sounds like the N1, or at best the W1.

Suggest swapping it in the near future.
