what do I need for hd 598?

Gonna buy Sennheiser hd 598's, was wondering do I need anything else besides the headphones themselves to bring them to fullest potential? Maybe an E6? Not sure. Thanks for the input.

No you dont need anything. An e10 couldnt hurt though :3

Nothing is needed as long as your onboard audio is good enough.  They're great headphones, enjoy them!

You can get all your music in FLAC instead of 320kbs so you know it was not up-scaled.

I think stuff can be upscaled to FLAC formats. but most people wouldn't tell a difference from 320 kbps mp3 and FLAC files (including me) but Youtube music is a different thing all together.

The 598's are nice and easy to drive so for me at least they didn't benefit from a Fiio amp at all. I would say just drive them directly from your sound card.
