Appreciate GPU Recommendation rather than 1660ti

Hello,

I'm a first time PC builder, I've gathered all my parts except for PC Case, Monitor and GPU. I was looking forward to buying MSI GeForce GTX 1660 ti Ventus XS OC, however if I go with that one, the PC Case and the Monitor have to be a lot cheaper and I don't think I should be cutting corners when it comes to buying them. So, I thought maybe I should go with a cheaper GPU. Here is my build:

Even 50 dollars cheaper card would be better imo. So, what do you think I should do? Is there any big differences between 1660ti, 1660, 1660 Super, 1650? Which brand should I select? Should I go for a lot cheaper Pc case and monitor and while keeping the 1660ti? or I should wait a month (which I really don't want to) and go for 1660 ti and better quality pc case and monitor?

The 1660 Super is a good choice- it's only like 3% behind the 1660Ti and considerably cheaper.

Just get a 1660s, its literally the ti, but 50 bucks cheaper, and also get a 3600, its literally better gamign and overall preformance, so also get a b450 tomohawk max. don't get the 3600x tho

Why not go ryzen? Way better value and saves you your €50, and then some. Also there are better/cheaper component choices.

No offense but you guys are focusing on the wrong thing, and when it comes to being cheap or not, I've been following discounts days for 3 months for now. Believe me I might have already saved up to 180 euros.

Definitely go 1660 Super to save 50 Euro. It has 14Gbps GDDR6 while the 1660 Ti only has 12Gbps GDDR6, which makes the 1660 Super perform basically on par with the 1660 Ti despite have a few less CUDA cores. 1660 Ti makes no sense whatsoever and if you're going to spend 293 Euro on a 1660 Ti might as well bump your budget up another 25 Euro for the much better RTX 2060.

Here is how 1660 Super compares to 1660 Ti. Kind of a no-brainer to go 1660 Super when it costs about 17% less and only performs at about 2% lower than stock 1660 Ti.

actually quite curious, because the 5700 non XT with an XT Flash is of good value, and the R5 2600 (or the older R5 1600, if you buy the RIGHT version, which is actually the 2600 but it needs to be serial number verified..

 

seems to be a better "cheap" system.... the 5700 non XT is 11-12% faster than the TI and with an success full XT flash maybe closer to 20%

 

the 3600 is a nice CPU but the R5 1600 AF (important numbers) is so cheap and with a decent B450 board and some 3200mhz ram, you seem to be in a sweet spot at current stage.

That is a $101 CPU, and you can't get it from major retailers anymore... The full 2600 is only $18 more, and is widely available... I'd go for a 2600 over any 1600. Of course there is a very significant improvement going to a 3600 for $185-$195, and I would say it's worth the price. (along with a cheap X570 motherboard, it should be capable well into the PCI-e 4.0 x8 GPU saturation phase of things, and there's upgrade potential further down the line)

At the same price, a 1660ti is the worst option available right now. The 5600XT matches its price, and has at least 10% higher performance. If you can save a few bucks more, a 2060 KO is an even better value. If you have to go cheaper, then the 1660 Super is the way to go.
