Posted October 22, 2019 https://www.techradar.com/news/amd-ryzen-9-3950x-easily-beats-intels-mighty-core-i9-10980xe-in-leaked-benchmark Quote So the Ryzen 9 3950X hit 32,082 easily outdoing Intel’s Core i9-10980XE which recorded a result of 25,838. That’s a victory to the tune of 24% for the Ryzen processor, with both CPUs running at their stock clock speeds. Quote Another day, another set of leaked benchmarks, and once again we’re seeing the power of AMD’s imminent Ryzen 9 3950X – this time in a comparison to Intel’s incoming Core i9-10980XE (although this is not an apples-to-apples comparison in several different respects – more on that later). So, before we come to the caveats – the most obvious one being that we assume these benchmarks are genuine – let’s take a look at the actual 3DMark scores as provided by the ever-present CPU leaker TUM_APISAK. AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core - FIRE STRIKEPhysics Score 32XXXhttps://t.co/budy9vfMiHOctober 19, 2019 i9-10980XE - FIRE STRIKEhttps://t.co/AS8DmMbEcZOctober 19, 2019 Quote As you can see, we’re looking at the AMD and Intel chips in 3DMark, Fire Strike, specifically the ‘Physics’ score which pertains to the processor – the other results can’t be compared because the benchmarked PCs had different other hardware components (including, most tellingly, different graphics cards). AMD is going stonk! I don't know if this leaky benchmark from both high end processors are accurate, but holy smoke the 3950x is going wild! Intel is going to need to develop a weapon to tame the 3950x beast! Even Intel finally develop a weapon to tame the 3950x, AMD will going to release another beast to fight against Intel head-on. Good job AMD! Keep doing what you are doing because with your Ryzen cpu competition, we consumers probably will be on 4c/8t........But man, the 3950x is just so dam good. In that case 90% of the hype was legitimate. Zen 2 performs amazingly well and is currently kicking Intel's ass all over. I wonder how much a 3950X will cost? I wonder how much a 3950X will cost? thats true. I guess I mean a little more about the release dates, if I remember right people would take the leaks seriously saying that zen 2 would come earlier then expected. I'm guessing it'll cost 9900k price, around there. 8086k aorus pro z390 noctua nh-d15s chromax w black cover evga 3070 ultra samsung 128gb, adata swordfish 1tb, wd blue 1tb seasonic 620w dogballs psu
 Posted October 25, 2019 https://lab501.ro/procesoare-chipseturi/review-intel-core-i9-10980xe-cascade-lake-x Anyone expecting a groundbreaking increase in performance for the 10980XE? Well..I hate to break it to you but..it's a 9980XE with a price cut Cinebench R20 Score at 8563. Not exactly spectacular. That's basically the same score as the 9980XE, and around the same as the 3950x which has 2 less cores. Let's hope this isn't a proper review and is all fake. So it's your choice. $250 for quad channel memory and more PCIE lanes. Although it's a bit more than $250 because you have to take into account the motherboard prices. Posted October 25, 2019 Intel: But the new 10980xe is just a discounted 9980xe... how are we gonna shift older, more expensive stock of the 9 series? Marketers: Oh, you with little faith. Just leak a "benchmark" saying the 10 series performs less... bam, 9980s sold out!
