Hey everyone,

I recently broke my VIEWSONIC XG2405 monitor, and unfortunately, the warranty has expired. I can't afford to buy a new one right now, so I'm wondering if anyone here has experience replacing the panel on this specific model. Is it worth the effort? Also, where could I buy a replacement panel? A guide on how to open the monitor would be super helpful too since I couldn't find anything online.

Alternatively, if you have any idea how much I could sell the monitor for in its current state, that would be great to know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Try disassembling it, check the back side of the panel. You should find a part number. Also try to count the number of pins on the display connector, I have seen displays with the same part number but different amount of pins.
