Ducky has a Belgian azerty layout, you can get them from alternate.be I think. I’m searching for one as well, a good mechanical keyboard that is. And I was thinking between Corsair and Logitech but Logitech’s azerty layout is french and not Belgian.

I've been using a cm quickfire tkl since 2014 and never struck me as anything more than a generic mx brown board

thats your issue, you chose that god awful switch.

Their buiild quality is pretty topnotch for the price compared to others.

Nothing great also, if you have not tried any better switches browns might seem good to some people, but to me and many many others browns feel like scratchy reds and the tactile bump is barely there, and even if some people might like that, when comparing to any better switches cherry browns are very scratchy. Scratchy to such extent that I lubed them, which you don't do to a tactile switch, but it tuned down the scratchiness at least, but still I won't use that board with my main pc.

You don't have to get the best switches, there are other switches than those, these are kinda top tier, you don't have to spend that much to get better than cherry switches, just pick something from kailh box range and you are good to go, no need to spend a lot to get a better switch.
