Best CPU cooler for R7 3700x

Hi

 

I currently have the stock cooler for the Ryzen 7 3700x, but I find it a bit too noisy. So I started wondering.. What's a good CPU cooler for under 100$ which might even make small overclocking possible.

 

CPU cooler's max height is 161mm which makes it difficult to find a proper one (so Dark rock pro 4 won't fit).

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

I'm Re satisfied with my NH-U12A, but in my case it still gets to around 80°C under load.

Im using a NH - U12S on a 3600 and getting 61,7 Max temps while gaming, Average is 51,4

The quoted cpu cooler height clearance for the case is actually 162mm which might not mean that the DRP4 may fit but the extra room isn't useless.
