PWM goes to the CPU fan header and controls fan speed, as for the 5v RGB if your motherboard hasn't got a 5v header then you will need an addressable RGB controller.

so i got the 

Deepcool Gamerstorm FRYZEN Air CPU Cooler, and i have a ryzen 5 3600 and an msi x470 gaming pro carbon and for case h500i

 

so my problem is that the cooler came with an RGB header that says 5V and i only have normal RGB headers on my mobo do i connect it? or is there some sort of incompatibility going on? and the cooler says its pwm so where do i connect these aswell? (im kind of lost since this is my first time getting an aftermarket cooler, and i would love some help)

thank you bro the pwm thing helped, found the 5v header after reading the mobos manual for 20 minutes.
