I have a credit at a store. What should I get?

I have a voucher with this shop in the UK called CeX as I traded in few things for credit to buy a laptop. 

 

However, I've been sent a laptop with incorrect specs and I had to return it (I actually wanted to keep it, but the price for the specs was terrible)

 

So I have £500 voucher with them and I wouldn't want to lose much with them.

 

They sell anything PC related. 

 

I was thinking, what would be the best thing to buy to resell for money? 

 

I was thinking 1TB NVMe drives or just a single 1080 Ti or something.

I don't think Vega 56's will be easy to sell. They also cost £245 each.

As I explained in the original post, I traded things in for a voucher because it gave me more money towards the laptop.

Yep, bought it about a week ago due to free stuff like the wireless charger etc.

I have 3x Acer Predators 120Hz G-Synced in Nvidia Surround 34" each. Also, they don't sell monitors really.

When it comes to the laptop: HP has good deals on them and I like the look. Tested the cooling and it's pretty good and it includes Thunderbolt 3 etc with latest i7.

maybe a few games, or the 1080ti could be useful so you can use the 2080 for just your game while the 1080 can do your other monitors. bit overkill imo though lol

 

or use the 1080 to stream/ record without affecting your 2080 so you can game and stream (if you dont stream now then you could start if you wanted)

I have 2080 Ti SLI. My PC doesn't have enough bandwidth for 3rd GPU. Also, kinda pointless.

 

When it comes to resale, I could perhaps get like £500 for 1080 Ti?

not sure how much you could get for it but yeah that is a good plan so that you can spend the money elseware

It is a lottery. You'll never know what 1080 Ti you'll get but 1080 Ti is 1080 Ti so yea.

I'd still get an iPhone, faster, better camera, actually games better, better battery, and doesn't look like a RGB gamer brick. New headphones or a watch could also be good. The Cocktail Time or Le Locle should be around that price but I doubt that store would sell those.

Personally if they didn't have anything I wanted, I'd figure out what they did have that the price wasn't too bad on, buy that, and sell it locally for a similar price to what you've paid, but thats just me.

Used drives don't resell very good, because it is always sketchy. But the 1080ti should have a good resell value, as it is very hard to obtain nowadays.

I have 64GB every slot taken. Also, 1TB NVMe and 500GB NVMe EVO Plus. Can't stick more due to bandwidth in my PC with SLI it's at maximum.

Like others have said -- 1080ti.  But that market may get disrupted soon so you'll wanna act fast.  I think an iPhone would sell well also.
