Newest addition to budget flagship killers Redmi K20 Pro and its little brother Redmi K20 have been launched in China, Beijing:

https://www.techradar.com/news/xiaomi-launches-redmi-k20-and-redmi-k20-pro-in-china

Most noteworthy features of new devices are OLED displays, all-screen design thanks to the pop up camera, AUDIO JACK, 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage for base models. The K20 Pro also has newest and greatest Snapdragon 855 chipset, while less powerful K20 has Snapdragon 730 chipset. Both devices feature 4 000 mAh batteries and quick charge capabilities – 27W for K20 Pro, 18W for K20.

Prices start at 2 499 Chinese Yuan ($361 / €323) for K20 Pro and 1 999 Chinese Yuan ($289/€259) for K20.

Quote

The Redmi K20 Pro will have four versions for the regular phone and a fifth option, dubbed Avengers Edition, coming with some goodies in the retail box. Sadly, Weibing did not say anything about a launch or a price tag of the limited edition. Here's a list of the pricing of the regular Redmi K20 Pro:

RAM + Storage options Price in CNY Price in USD / EUR
6 GB + 64 GB 2499 $361 / €323
6 GB + 128 GB 2599 $377 / €337
8 GB + 128 GB 2799 $405 / €362
8 GB + 256 GB 2999

$434 / €388

That's very competent price for device with flagship Snapdragon chipset and OLED display, but it does leave me wondering about successor to Pocophone F1. I just don't see how Xiaomi could release F2 without destroying sales of K20 Pro. With that said, it absolutely tears yet another hole in Swiss cheese-like bottom of OneMinus

This is what the OnePlus should have been.

Great specs at a really low price.

Edit:

I should add that I don't think the K20 Pro is a top of the line phone. It's certainly a step down from the OnePlus. But it hits a lot of the key specs at a really good price.

There are also rumors that it will be released worldwide under the name "Xiaomi Mi 9T (Pro)".

This might actually be my next phone. Zenphone was a bit too expensive for my taste but this is affordable

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Wish it wasn't so thick and didn't have the cringe color pattern on the back

Else I would have already ordered one

I want a pop up camera so I can weld/epoxy it shut

8.8mm before camera bump

that's quite normal thickness imo

My oneplus 6t is 8.2mm and I find that quite thin.

Besides, that K20 has 4000mAh battery so 8.8mm is quite justified

In all seriousness I love my S10+, but I'm glad more competitive phones like this exist that keep key features.

That would make sense, considering Poco was HUGE in India (at least from what I have heard), so they wouldn't even have to spend effort on marketing it there.

Redmi is kinda an odd one since it's eating into the Xiaomi's own "Mi" product lineup. Before it was a budget option, now it comes with same chipset as Mi flagship. And that's just odd decision.
