boy... we call it rumors

we don't even know how many cores, their speed or anything related to that

the only things that have been really confirmed so far are

new motherboards

You determine the hot X570 chipset because of the cooling fans on literally every motherboard that has been seen so far?

that is a good question, because it makes no sense based on rumours. no sense based on common sense, no sense based on Engineering samples.

so i would love to hear from your source.

While there is a possibility that AMD will only release up to 8 cores first and only add to the line up afterward just like how Intel did on x299 this is not confirmed.

The end if the month is so close... We will really soon know all the answers so be patient.

The cooling on the chipset has been confirmed by Buildzoid with his look at the boards as well as insider information hes gotten from talking to Vendors. Only the low tier boards wont have the budget for a fan and will just likely blow up and burn up eventually from poor cooling on the chipset since the passive heatsink isnt enough anymore on it.

if you do high intensity stuff. though it will probably be a concern with low end mobos.

also apperantly x570 is supposed to be quite expencive.

I don't see a strategic benefit for them to release anything more than 10 (if this configuration even works) or 12 cores honestly.

Releasing a 16 core now is throwing away the ace up their sleeve.

I'd save it for when Intel drops their 10-core, and then launch the 16 core Ryzen.

LOL, if I posted this I would get the axe in the balls.  Rumors Rumors and more Rumors.  No place does it say there will be 12 core Ryzens.  Also ThreadRipper according to AMD will come after the consumer Ryzen chips.  They said August but I don't believe them or trust them.  Either the new Zen 2 blows and they don't want to admit its slower then 9900k or its faster then 9900k at 8 core and they want a pleasant surprise to everybody.

The 12 cores will be released on Computex, however the release of the 16 core is in question.

The engineering samples for both of these are on the final stages, but rumors say that the 16 will be released near the end of the summer or even later.

How about releasing the 16 core now, so that the intel 10-cores look weak in comparasion?

It is not like intel can change the design of the chips anyway, so what harm would releasing the chips now do?

Because then what do you have left?

You need a new product to sell. Even if just for marketing, you need an option. (1070 ti, Coffeelake re-re-refresh)

The 12 core should already beat anything Intel has, even the yet to release 10-core.

The 16 would be a total waste now.

Why would AMD sell a 12 core when the ThreadRipper will probably be their 12 core CPU then 16 core then 24 core and 32 core and even 64 core later on.

AMD themselves already showed the ryzen 3000 8 core beating the 9900k at cinebench at lower wattag, so it will be faster.

The 12 cores are also very relayable leaks.

There was nothing wrong with your posts, but you just posted 20 leaks a day, and while 1 a day is a bit annoying, seeing the exactly same thing 20+ times is just....

IMO AMD is playing with us and I don't like that.  Intel sets nice roadmaps while AMD crawls under a rock.  Its like show me the money!  I still find it hard to believe they will have a 16 core for under 500 dollars.  Doesn't make sense that is ThreadRipper ground.
