If you're willin to wait for Navi to be released between July-September, then you can get somethin equal or better around the same price or more.

Those are a load of nonsense. For starters, vega 64 + 10%...any ideas what performance that matches? Yeah, the 2070. So we have two cards that match the 2070 and one card just 10% behind that. Then we have a card that matches Radeon VII. So then..what's the point of the Radeon VII if this so called 3090 and 3090XT are releasing in July?

This is ridiculous and I don't know what Jim from AdoredTV was smoking when he made this chart.

People think the 5ghz zen2 leaks from Jim were bad (I personally think they aren't too far off), well take a look at these leaks. Cause these leaks are complete nonsense.Go back to the original leaks a few months earlier. Those make far more sense. 3060 matching rx 580 is fine, 3070 matching vega 56 is fine and one of those 3 cards around vega 64/rtx 2070 is fine. But the rest is rubbish.

As for the question, get the rx 570. Beats 1050ti by 30% solidly.

The 1050 Ti isn't worth it anymore unless your power supply doesn't have a six-pin connector and you can't afford to upgrade.

RX 570 4gb is approx. $130 currently w/2 games (World War Z & The Division 2 - Gold Edition).  GPU RAM will become an issue w/newer titles, even on lower settings, and most definitely w/future releases; if you're not playin on low-grade graphics games, like Overwatch, LoL, WoW, etc.

Best thing is these aren't benchmarks and there's really no such thing as "pre-launch benchmarks", since either the product is in someones hands bein tested or it's not, regardless of an official release date; it's either released to them for testing or it's a projection, which's still not a benchmark.

LMAO the 1050ti is MORE expensive?! 570 is like 30% faster than 1050ti. It's RX 570 all the way and it's not even remotely close. It's like if a Vega 56 cost more than a 2070. Ridiculous.

You're right. It's marketing BS "leaked" by AMD to bloggers. Which is less reliable than pre-launch benchmarks, which are less reliable than pulling out. Thanks for clearing that up.

Reading comprehension victory.  Another child left behind.  *insert another news headline*

I guess I'll attempt to clarify for another participant of the bottom 90%.  It's a general guide to assist in a decision to see if one wants to wait or not.  There's no need to actually use it as a holy bible, but something that can be used to hold off.  Also, if you have an IQ above room temp. (bottom 90% do not), then pullin out is far from difficult and/or useless  ?

I'm not to be like "muh Nvidia", but when the price gap is like that, there's no reason not to get a 570, especially since it's faster than the 1050 Ti.

There is no reason to even think about the 1050ti if you have a PCIe Connector in your system.

The 1050ti is just way too expensive for what you get. It should be at 75€, with the price it is right now.

For more than the 570 its a really really awful deal. It should be much cheaper!

That's as accurate as rolling the dice about the Cards...

Pls do NOT believe that or circulate that table. It will only lead to desaster. And when people are disapointed, they tend to buy other stuff...

That said, although possible it seems rather unlikely to me. We don't even know how many CUs the "small" Navi has. And then there is "Big Navi" next year. What's the point of Big Navi when small Navi already has the max amount of CUs that GCN allows??

We really need to wait and see what they did and how they perform. And what the differences from Polaris and VEGA are, what they could improve.

We litereally know nothing about NAVI except that it will be in 7nm. Everything else is speculation.

GCN

There's the elephant in the room and the reason I remain very skeptical of Navi. I won't make any purchases before it comes out unless I stumble across a screaming deal on a 2070, but I reserve the right to point right back at GCN as the reason real-world benchmarks fell so far short of the claimed numbers.

https://www.computerbase.de/2016-08/amd-radeon-polaris-architektur-performance/

Computerbase did a comparisation between Radeon 7970 (280X) and RX470 because they have the same amount of shaders.

And also threw the 380X in the mix as well.

And to make it worse, they tried to limit the GPU Clock to the same 1040MHz as well as the Memory to around the same Bandwith.

That said, the Polaris is up to 30% faster than Tahiti and still up to 15% faster than Tonga.

Biggest difference so far is in Witcher 3 with 29 vs 35,4 vs 40,8.

So GCN or not means nothing. We know that nVidia adopted the GCN Execution units more and more with each generation. So that shows us they are fine.

The Problem with GCN is the Frontent and the Framebuffer Compression stuff.

If AMD can optimize that, they have an ace in the hole.
