ryzen 7 2700u getting to 86 degrees celsius while only playing league

dell inspiron 13 7000 2 in 1 with ryzen 7 inside

so i was playing league of legends and i noticed my computer felt extremely hot so i load in a software for cpu temp run league and notice it is averaging 80 degrees celsius. i know it would get hot because its a very thin 13 in laptop running a ryzen apu but i didnt expect it to reach 80 degrees on average while playing. i feel like this could be bad for long time gaming sessions. does anyone have any ideas to cool this down. (besides walking 10 feet to my high end  gaming pc.)

Welcome to laptop gaming.

Get yourself one of those laptop stands that lifts the back end up some so there's more air getting to the fan. It'll help a little, but Ryzen mobile chips run hot to begin with, and Dell laptops aren't known for their thermal dissipation capabilities.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

.

the first thing u do is get one of those usb fan stands that goes under the laptop,  then get one of those small desk fans from amazon and blow at it from the side as long as it doesnt bother u.

Stuff inside my first laptop literally melted when i was a kid, cap ur fps.

Consider capping FPS at 60 to reduce usage (and therefore temperatures).
