Fractal design meshify C enough room?

Hi all

 

I was looking at getting the fractal design meshify C case, I really like the design and the functions of the case but I am having second thoughts about the size. With the meshify C I am worried that it may be a little cramped. I know that my system can fit inside the case, I am just wondering if it is worthwhile to get a case with a little more room for upgrading and adding cooling components to it. I also know that you can get the S2 which is bigger for like $80.00 more, but in my opinion that doesn't seem worth it.

 

Are there any cases with a similar layout and functions (like air flow) as the meshify C that are bigger and have a similar price?

 

Any thoughts and suggestions are much appreciated!

It's funny how you didn't include the model of the GPU, and the GPU is the one thing in the meshify C that can be too long for the case.

 

If you include your GPU it'll be easier to get you an answer.

Definitely big enough for your specs, mine has every single 2.5" and 3.5" slot filled and a ton more cables then your system and it is perfectly fine. It is the best case I have ever worked with in terms of cable management while being the smallest ATX mid tower I have owned.

I'm 99% certain that the 1060 never came in a triple fan model so it will be fine.

Wow nice build. Would my AIO be ok as well if I attach the radiator to the back? I read online that the case has its limits when it comes to AIO's.

I was thinking the same thing but there are people who sometimes pick up custom coolers, or those crazy cards that we don't see here much in NA.

Yeah, you won't have any issues with a 120mm AIO at all, it's with mounting a 280mm AIO up top that becomes an issue. Front fans are both 140mm for reference.

Yeah, you can do 280mm AIO up front, and 240mm AIO at the top or front.

TBF I believe this is the only model 1060 that has a triple fan. I only remember it so vividly because it was in a few reviews when the 1060 came out. I dont think I've seen many people have it though because it's overpriced relative to the performance yu get from it since the 1060 isnt exactly overheating

Yeah, I honestly didn't recall a triple fan 1060 at all, although I am not surprised that Asus made and ROG Strix version.

Yeah, I am not surprised, it probably retailed for near the price of a cheap 1070. My Asus Dual Series OC barely touches 65 degrees C.
