Why is my task bar fat?

Hello, I left some chocolate on my desk over night and when I woke up my task bar looked like this.image.thumb.png.57c021bddb73dd3d5ae17dffd06ff715.png.... 


Nah but srsly, I connected my 4k monitor and something happend to the taskbar, it gained weight or something :P How can I fix this?

can you drag it back to compress it? i know in windows 7 that you can make it fatter that way, never tried it in 10.

In Win 10 you can drag the top edge and bring it down too, just like 7.

Indeed but you will need to 'unlock' it if u have it locked, right click and see if 'lock taskbar' is checked.

I unlocked the taskbar, dragged it to the sides and roof and then back down, still the same :/:(

I FIXED IT!!!! YOU COULD MINIMIZE IT WHILST BEING UNLOCKED!! You know just like when you make a window smaller using the arrows etc etc :P Thanks! But in order for it to work it had to be unlocked :)

Did you grab the upper edge of it and drag it down, like resizing a window?

Yes exactly! This option became available after I unlocked the taskbar. :)
