Fortnite/E-Sports Build For Daughter's 1st PC

Budget (including currency): $600 but the lower the better

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Fortnite, Roblox

Existing Parts: MSI B550 Gaming Plus, AMD Ryzen 7 1800X, WD Black SN770 1TB Gen 4, CyberPower PreBuilt ATX Case

I have some parts laying around and my daughter has expressed wanting a Gaming PC to use for Fortnite and Roblox which she currently plays on her Oculus and iPhone.  We're not chasing 200FPS or anything of course and since she's showing interest in PC gaming figured this would be a good chance to introduce her to it and also allow her to help me build it.

My initial thought is to re-use the MOBO, M2 NVME, and PC Case then purchase a new CPU, RAM, PSU, and possibly a GPU.

CPU:  I was originally thinking Ryzen 5 5600X since her brothers have that just to keep everyone consistent between all 3 PC' but wonder if I should consider something with an APU eliminating a GPU?  Which is better here?

GPU:  Fortnite isn't very demanding for casual play I would assume since it's an e-sports title.  Any recommendations here for best price to performance?

RAM:  I'm guessing any good 16GB (2x8GB) kit would be sufficient so not picky here.

PSU:  650W is probably more than enough right?  Should I do 80 Plus Gold or higher or is Bronze OK?

you could likely reuse the cpu, but if you want a new one 5600x is viable

nope, if your budget is over 200 you should most definitely not do that

Just save your money and use the parts you have. Then you just need a GPU, RAM and PSU and maybe whatever accessories.

A bronze efficiency PSU is fine as long the quality is good. A Corsair CX non modular PSU should be fine for the price sometimes.

For the GPU an RX 6600/XT should be alright. You can also find some deals on used stuff too.

Assuming the 5600X would be a substantial upgrade over the current CPU right?
