hi

i have a i7 4770, lga 1150, q85 chipset in a prebuilt lenovo thinkcenter

i wanna know if i can use a 5th gen cpu in my pc
if so are there any problems that may come up with it?

Intel's 5th gen is for laptops only if I remember correctly. The next non laptop CPU's would be 6th gen ( Skylake ) and they will not work in your motherboard.

They did release Broadwell-E 5th gen CPU's but they are Socket 2011-v3 LGA so they will not work either.

Upgrading this is useless, sell it and get something recent

iirc there were a very small number of 5th gen CPUs that were compatible, but their main feature was the integrated graphics and due to rarity they're likely to be expensive for the performance they offer.

If you did find one, you have a prebuilt PC and I don't know if a compatible BIOS is available, all things considered this is best avoided unless you're a collector. The performance difference is only marginal and isn't worth it when even an entry-level CPU of today like a i5-12400 or Ryzen 5600 are much faster.
