This is a friend’s cat. I took care of her 2 weeks ago while they were camping.

For those people that have exactly two cats there is some study or other in which apparently subjects are asked to watch cat videos.  I only have one myself so I can’t do it. there was a thing in Gizmodo.  Dunno if it’s full or over or what

Quite simple. Jen lives with us, like roommates - she has a bedroom on the first floor and the sun room (secondary living room). We live on the second floor (3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom). We share the living room, dining room, and kitchen.

He's now more of a Cat guy since he wouldn't really have the time to walk a dog at least two times a day plus he lives in an apartment where they don't have access to a garden.

Mmm… new cat owner. ..  most useful piece of advice..  The thing that took me the longest to really have banged into me with cats and the cause of pretty much every really bad problem I’ve even seen with cats is that the litterbox needs to be scooped and the crumbs from said scooping need to be cleaned up literally every damn day.  Can it go longer?  Yes.  Occasionally.  But that does NOT mean that just because it can go up to, say 3 days with a bit of luck, that you can do that on the regular.  Living on the ragged edge of disaster means eventually you will fall into it. Do it every day though and it’s beautiful. Easiest quickest way I’ve found to do the cleanup is with a dedicated minivac.  The sort made for cars and such.  Running cat litter in such a thing will foul it permanently for anything else, but if you have a vac that only ever does that it doesn’t matter.
