I wanted to sell my craptop,so I went to a friend who knows how much a piece of crap from 2007 might cost, and guess what! $150.Hell I ain't giving it away for that much. (it has quite a few problems,eg. keyboard kinda broken, drive almost failing,20mins of battery life). So then,I decided to try my luck with someone.I didn't even manage to get $150 on it from him.God damn it!

My PC is so far at close to 1000.I need to get a new GPU though.

Laptop $700, Desktop $1000.

But I always look for bargains. I built my PC a couple years ago, picked up a 2700k when they were new for $250, a $400 Gigabyte motherboard for $120 off Craiglist, etc. So it would have been worth substantially more.

Also @ViruZ_HUN_HUH your poll tells me I have to pick a value for both questions.

$6,256.52 so far without including my desk, with my desk the total so far has came to $10,256.51. I still have around $3,400 left for the Tower before it is completely finished.

If you include this minus my own main rig, then yes i have spent a tone of money on PC components in general.

1) AMD Phenom II 955, 8GB, 670 ( Kitchen media PC )

2) Intel i5-2500K 8GB, 7950 ( media PC in living room. Soon to be my steam box )

3) Intel i7-3930K, 32GB, 770 ( 38TB  media sever/ Graphic designing Rig, Dual booted with mountain Lion and Windows sever 2012 )
