What would you guys do with a laptop from 1998

One of the laptops I own is a Dell Inspiron PPI 7000 with all of the original items that came with the laptop from unopened manuals to two chargers, batteries, the floppy drive and dvd drive, a 8gb hard drive, 64mb of ram, the original Dell laptop bag (weighs twice as much as the laptop), and some plug in device (it looks like it has 3 Ethernet ports).

(Edit I forgot to put what cpu it has)  It has a Pentium II

take the time to post the sucker in the old and retro computer parts.

I'd keep it as a collectors item, especially if you've got all original accessories.

Don't bother recycling it. It could be worth quite a bit in the long run.

I'd just keep it, but that's probably because I just like old computer things.

Maybe see if LGR would take it? He probably has way too many things like it already and way more interesting stuff, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

i personally don't see value in 20 year old computer equipment. I grew up with it, i've seen it.

I'd either recycle it or find out how much thermite is required to make it disappear.

DOS gaming system. You'd be amazed how many DOS games just refuse to play nice with emulators.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

if the laptop has functionally os, do not reset the computer since hunting for drivers for this laptop would be a challenge

Only as much as someone will be willing to pay for it. Actual value will be that of literal garbage. :P
