LTT sharing albums in Google Photos? or phishing scam

This morning and again this afternoon, I got a notification from my Google Photos app that LTT shared an album with me, its something about an iPhone giveaway with one comment with a link in it.  Is anyone else getting these?  I suspect its a phishing scam... cause its seams like a stupid way for LTT to go about sharing give away info.  If its actually LTT, where do I opt out of any google photos album sharing? 

 

if not LTT (actually even if it is), is there a way to block all attempted shares that aren't coming from my white listed friends?  I don't need random people I don't know trying to share crap with me...

100% scam. Its been well documented for the past 2 or 3 months now WIth announcements, banners at the top of the page etc... how people still havent heard is beyond me.

Block no not really. All you can do is report the account to google and let them take the action against it. No other recourse.

So you are one of those people who need everything to be specified before you understand the point? If yes, that is really annoying, try to learn off it.

 

Only giveaways etc. that are real come from LMG sites you already follow.
